The Merton Choirbook is a project start to celebrate Merton College's 750th anniversary in 2014. Throughout that year, Merton College Choir premiered a number of works which had been commissioned specially for the project, to create a fine collection of contemporary choral and organ works. On 7 February 2015 at 4pm in Merton College Chapel, a further group of premieres take place as the Choir of Merton College, Benjamin Nicholas conductor and Christian Wilson solo organ perform veteran South African composer John Joubert Northumbrian Triptych – Three Settings of Bede, Francis Pott's Word and Hymn Fantasias, and Netherlands-based Argentinian composer Carlos Michans Apostrophe. Tickets are available on-line from Tickets Oxford.
