GFEST - Gaywise FESTival is an LGBT arts festival incorporating performance, visual art and film, running at venues across London 9 - 21 November 2015. The events cover a wide range of art-forms under the theme (Complacent Present) ... Fragile Future? There is an exhibition of work by Sunil Gupta, photographs by Charan Singh, the UK premiere of the film The Surface (directed by Michael J Saul), and a concluding concert at St Pancras Church on 20 November.

Entitled Tonal Future, the concert is a fundraiser for GFEST 2016 new commissions. The concert will include Gulliver Ralston playing Poulenc, Liam Byrne performing music Marin Marais and his teacher Saint Colombe on the viola-da-gamba, as well as music by Nico Mulhy, the Korros Ensemble in music by Britten and de Falla, and song from counter-tenor Miles Lallement.

The concert will be supported by a panel discussion: chaired by Gulliver Ralston, FRAGILE FUTURE? will debate the impact of LGBT composers and musicians on classical music, and explore the influences of sexuality on creation of music (University of Roehampton, 21 November, free).
