I can only assume that students from the photographic department gave a public record performance of the Decca recording maybe running it in tandem with a photographic exhibition of the work.

TonyPlanet Hugillhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03313336412497998666noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-11336161.post-88730465835973657432021-05-02T11:14:58.448+01:002021-05-02T11:14:58.448+01:00Thomas, I have passed your query on to Tony and ho...Thomas, I have passed your query on to Tony and hope to come back to you.

RobertPlanet Hugillhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03313336412497998666noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-11336161.post-58128679911264817722021-05-02T10:59:46.929+01:002021-05-02T10:59:46.929+01:00Dear Tony Cooper,
Thank you for your article on Be...Dear Tony Cooper,
Thank you for your article on Benjamin Britten and his association with Norwich. I must confess that I had no previous knowledge of the subject. However I have found your writing both enjoyable and enlightening.
Please may I ask if you are aware of a concert given in the photographic studio of Britten’s requiem at the University of East Anglia in the early 70’s?
I have acquired a poster designed for the event which has a time and date (6:30 on Thursday , May 11th) but no year?
The poster suggests a stellar line up of: Gallina Vishnevskaya- soprano: Peter Pears- tenor: Dietrich Fisher-Dieskau-baritone: Melos ensemble: The London Symphony Orchestra with Benjamin Britten conducting.
I should be most grateful for any information about this event which you may be able to offer? Many thanks.

Kind Regards,

Thomas.Thomashttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10397493054260086559noreply@blogger.com
