BBC Radio 3 are celebrating the anniversaries of Rutland Boughton and Cecil Armstrong Gibbs next week. Paul Brough and the BBC Singers have recorded a series of items by the two composers which are being broadcast on Afternoon on 3 during the week. Rather tempting items include Boughton's
Burglar Bill (!) and his cantata
The City, which is evidently rather in post-Gerontius mode. For those, like me, who can't tune in live the programmes will be available on the web as well.
