Cantores Chamber Choir under their conductor David Allinson are giving a concert on 17 November at 3pm at St George's Cathedral, Southwark, entitled
Sicut Lilium. Focussing on the Virgin Mary and featuring music by Taverner, Parsons, Josquin, Mouton, Guerrero, Victoria and Palestrina, the concert takes place in the Lady Chapel of the Cathedral. (Allinson and his other choir, Renaissance Singers, featured in Saturday's
performance of the
Florentine Intermedi at the Brighton Early Music Festival). More details on
