Urgent & intense: My review of Opera2Day's Hamlet in Opera Now magazine
Labels:
news
Last month I was in The Hague, Netherlands for a remarkable new production of Ambroise Thomas' Hamlet given by Opera2Day, directed by Serge van Veggel in a version which transformed Thomas' grand opera into something urgent, intense and contemporary with Quirijn de Lang in the title role.
My review is now in the March edition of Opera Now magazine, further information from the Opera Now website.
