On 9 October, the New London Orchestra will be celebrating its 25th anniversary with a concert at St. John's Smith Square under their conductor Ronald Corp. The orchestra was founded to perform music rarely heard in concert and their celebratory concert includes Martinu's Concerto for Double Strin Orchestra, Timpani and Piano, Ibert's Divertissement along with music by Bernstein, Tippett, Simaku, Richter, Bratton, Duncan and a work by Ronald Corp.
Since 2011 the orchestra has been the orchestra in residence at Stratford Circus and their education programme includes a three year Literacy Through Music project taking place in primary schools in Newham.
