Pianist Rebecca Omordia has joined forces with Romanian cellist Răzvan Suma to perform an intriguing programme of British and Romanian music from the 20th and 21st centuries. They are taking the programme on tour which began earlier this week and continues in the UK to 20 March 2017, and will be followed by performances in Romania. The programme includes John Ireland's powerful Cello Sonata fro 1923 plus music by Elgar, Delius and Bridge, alongside contemporary British works, Elegy by Ian Venables and Fast Music written specially for the tour by Robert Matthew-Walker.
