2021 Ivors Composer Awards winners

The winners of the 2021 Ivors Composer Awards for classical, jazz and sound art were announced last night (8 December 2021) at a ceremony at the British Museum. The event will be broadcast on BBC Radio 3's New Music Show on Saturday 11 December 2021. Of the ten winning composers, six received an award for the first time. Alexander Goehr, who will be 90 next year, received an award recognising his achievements across a career spanning seven decades.
