Opera dei Lumi is a new opera company which seeks to explore the operas from the Enlightenment. For their inaugural production they are performing Mozart's Cosi fan tutte in Berwick on Tweed on 22 August (as part of the Berwick Festival Opera) and in Edinburgh on 26 August as part of the Edinburgh Festival Fringe.
Opera dei Lumi was founded by Peter Keenan, who read music at York University and was involved with a fully staged performance of Mozart's The Magic Flute, which gave him the idea for Opera dei Lumi. Peter is currently a conductor with Edinburgh University Music Society and founded Milne Graden Chamber Orchestra.
They are seeking crowd funding and if you'd like to help, visit their project page on WeFund.com
