Eaton Square Concerts starts its Autumn season on Thursday 5 October 2017 at St Peter's Church, Eaton Square, with a series of five concerts featuring British artists ranging from established names like Tasmin Little, Emma Johnson and Freddy Kempf to up and coming groups The Queen's Six and Halcyon Quartet. The series opens with Emma Johnson & Friends in Weber, Brahms, and Beethoven on Thursday 5 October.
The Halcyon Quartet return with Haydn, Dvořák, and Schubert after a highly successful debut in the last season of Eaton Square Concerts. Freddy Kempf performs a programme of Beethoven, Prokofiev and Schumann, whilst Tasmin Little is joined by pianist John Lenehan for a programme which includes music by Dame Ethel Smyth alongside Mozart, Brahms and Ravel. The series ends on 9 November when The Queen's Six, a male a cappella ensemble drawn from the ranks of the Choir St George’s Chapel, Windsor, present ‘Sous la pluie anglaise’ a programme which combines French and English sacred and secular music with Bacharach and The Beach Boys.
