'What the silence taught me' - concert in support of the UN Refugee Agency

Nicola Woodward, flutes - What the silence taught me

The flautist Nicola Woodward, who has recently been making a name for herself by recording all 96 of Charles Koechlin's Les chants de nectaire for solo flute (on Hoxa Sound), is giving a concert in support of the UN Refugee Agency at Holy Trinity Church, Sloane Square on Friday 25 November 2021, 'What the silence taught me'

The candle light concert will feature music from Koechlin's Les chants de nectaire, plus Bach's Partita in A Minor,  and music by Croatian composer Božidar Kunc (1903-1964), German composer Tilman Dehnhard, and Dutch/American composer Herman Beeftink

It is one of three concerts that Woodward is doing in support of the UNRA's work with Afghan refugees, other concerts are at St Paul's Church, Thornbury, near Bristol (19/11/2021) and St Andrew's Centre, Pershore (3/12/2021).

Full details and tickets from Nicola Woodward's website, and she has created a JustGiving page too.
