To the Rosemary Branch Theatre on Saturday (1 March) for something rather different from our usual, Riptide! the slasher musical. With music by Simon Nathan, lyrics by Mark Nathan and book by Chazz Redhead, piece provided a hilarious send-up of the Spring Break horror type films complete with some great toe-tapping songs.
A cast of nine and band of six provided an hour's brilliant entertainment. The bad news is that the last performance was on Sunday 2 March, but the good news is that they are taking the show to the Edinburgh Festival Fringe this year. Hilary's review of the show will be up here on the blog later this week.
