The evening concerts include Emma Murphy, Ibrahim Aziz, Steven Devine and David Gould in music by CPE Bach and his Godfather, Telemann, as well as by Bach senior; the Trinity Laban Soloists and Baroque Orchestra directed by Adrian Butterfield in CPE Bach, Locatelli and Leclair; the early music ensemble Philomel in 16th English music for courtly entertainments; Robert Hollingworth and I Fagiolini in music by Monteverdi and those influenced by him; Fretwork in Bach's Art of Fugue; Rachel Podger directing Brecon Baroque in Bach's Musical Offering and Brandenburg Concerto No. 5.
During the day there is the exhibition with an amazing list of exhibitors, and many of the instrument makers are giving demonstration recitals. There are masterclasses with Sir John Elliot Gardiner, Pamela Thorby, and a lecture recital from Stephen Devine, plus lunchtime concerts from student ensembles and competition winners.
