JAM (The John Armitage Memorial) is presenting two concerts tonight (17 March 2016) showcasing work of contemporary British composers, both at St Bride's Church, Fleet Street. At 6pm, Bach to Baker Street, a chance to hear Trinity Laban Chamber Choir, conductor Stephen Jackson in music by Patrick Gowers (1936-2004), a composer whose career spanned music for Sherlock Holmes and anthems from Cathedral Choirs. Then at 7.45pm there is JAM's annual Spring concert featuring music from its call for works, this time featuring a repeat of Thea Musgrave's Voices of our Ancestors, Judith Bingham's My heart strangely warmed plus music by Daniel Saleeb, Mike Stubbs, and Jonathan Woolgar, performed by The Chapel Choir of Selwyn College, Cambridge,
