Recorder Revolution! comes to St John's

It is unlikely that you will be able to go to Palisander's Recorder Revolution! concert at St John's Smith Square on 15 June 2017 at 11am. First of all it is aimed at recorder playing school children, and secondly all 500 seats have sold out. This free concert is aimed at inspiring young recorder players with the potential that the recorder has beyond the classroom.

Recorder Revolution! is an interactive concert designed to ignite the children's interest in music making, and the ensemble present a range of music spanning 900 years on recorders ranging from 6 inches to 6 feet tall. And there will be opportunities for all to join in.

Palisander (Miriam Nerval - Lydia Gosnell - Hannah St Clair Buggs - Caoimhe de Paor) has recently released its first CD (see my review), and the good news is that at 1pm on 15 June, the ensemble will be repeating Recorder Revolution!  at a public concert, full details from the St John's Smith Square website.
