Grainger Edition

This year is the 50th anniversary of Grainger's death. Next weekend there is a weekend long commemoration at Kings Place. But also, Chandos have re-issued their Grainger Edition recordings in a glorious 19CD box set, containing some 23 hours of music. Whilst the recordings do not cover every single thing that Grainger wrote, they certainly do give a fine overview of the wonderful breadth of his work.
