Royal Greenwich International Early Music Festival
Royal Greenwich International Early Music Festival and Exhibition opens tomorrow (7 November) and runs until Saturday 9 November 2013 at the Old Royal Naval College, Greenwich London. The event combines the world's largest early music fair with masterclasses and concerts in Greenwich. The exhibition includes over 100 instrument makers from around the world and there are makers demonstration recitals throughout each day. 

There are masterclasses from counter-tenor Michael Chance and Italian viola da gamba virtuoso Paolo Pandolfo, plus a lecture rectial by viola da gamba player Ibi Aziz. There are recitals from BBC Young Musician 2012 Woodwind finalist Charlotte Barbour-Condini, Paolo Pandolfo and recorder player David Bellugi with Charles Matthews on harpsichord. Concerts include the Trinity Laban Soloists and Baroque Orchestra directed by Sir John Eliot Gardiner, Michael Petri and James Johnstone, Joglaresa, and a 40th anniversary concert from the English Concert directed from the harpsichord by their founder Trevor Pinnock.
