In a move to help composers who have been affected by the current crisis. ORA Singers, artistic director Suzi Digby, has set up an Emergency Composers' Fund to commission new work. The group is offering eight commissions as part of a collaboration with Tate Modern.
The Emergency Composers Fund is open to any composer who is resident in the UK and the eight chosen composers will each receive a £1,500 commission to write a new choral work inspired by works of art, specifically chosen by Tate Modern from their international collection [click on the links below, to see the works on the Tate Modern website]:
