I see from the Autumn edition of Art Quarterly (the Art Fund's magazine), that from some time this autumn, people who donate art works to museums will be entitle to 30% of the value off their tax bill. Something that already happens with gifts of money and shares, but not art works. Its high time that this anomaly was corrected, the UK lags rather behind other countries in encouraging people to donate.
