Piano Explored: lunchtimes at St John's Smith Square

Howard Shelly and the London Mozart Players are returning to St John's Smith Square with Piano Explored, their monthly lunchtime concert series which will explore classics from the piano concerto repertoire. Directing from the piano, Shelly will also be talking about the music, taking you on exciting deconstruction of some of classical music’s most recognised works for piano. 

For the first event, on Thursday 4 October, the focus is on Grieg's Piano Concerto in A minor, Op.16, followed by Schumann's Piano Concerto (1 November), Shostakovich's Piano Concerto No. 2 (6 December), Mendelssohn's Piano Concerto No. 1 (7 February 2018) and Saint-Saens Piano Concerto No. 2 (7 March 2018).
