This Sunday: In search of Bach's Cello Suites - Conway Hall Sunday Concerts Live on-line

Tomorrow (Sunday 10 May 2020), I was scheduled to give my talk In search of Bach's cello suites at Conway Hall in advance of a performance of Bach's Cello Suites by cellist Robert Max. This live event, alas, is not happening, and we will have to wait for a future date to hear Max's performance of these icons of the solo cello repertoire.

Instead, Conway Hall will be presenting an event on-line, hosted by the hall's director of music, Simon Callaghan. I will be giving my talk In search of Bach's Cello Suite, live from my study in Brixton (thanks to the wonders of technology), whilst pianist Maria Canyigueral will be performing Bach, Mompou and Beethoven's Piano Sonata Op. 27 No. 1.
