Will Todd's opera Alice's Adventures in Wonderland, which has been delighting families for for the last three years on the Yucca Lawn in Holland Park, is coming indoors. Opera Holland Park's production (see my review) is being given at Covent Garden's Linbury Theatre from 5 to 7 November 2015. Directed by Martin Duncan, designed by Leslie Travers and conducted by Matthew Waldren with many of the original cast including Fflur Wyn as Alice, James Cleverton as the White Rabbit, Robert Burt as the Queen of Hearts, Victoria Simmonds as the Mad Hatter, Magid el Bushra as the Cheshire Cat, Keel Watson as the Caterpillar and John Lofthouse as the March Hare/White Knight.

Will Todd's eclectic score is showing itself remarkably enduring with the company's recording of the opera (see my review) proving rather satisfying so it will be interesting to see how the opera works indoors.
