This weekend (29 August 2020) should have seen the Pride Cymru celebrations, and the festival is celebrating its 21st birthday this year. But with physical celebrations cancelled, things went on-line and Welsh actor Luke Evans joined forces with the chorus and orchestra of Welsh National Opera with a video of Queen's Who wants to live forever? (music and words by Brian May, arranged by John Langley).
Evans, who has starred in quite a number of major films, released his debut album At Last last year (with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra); he recorded his contribution to the video in Australia where he is filming. Available on YouTube.
